For Candidates

You’ve been invited to show what you know.

This page explains what to expect before you start. It won’t tell you what’s on the assessment itself.

What This Is

A job-relevant assessment, not a personality test.

This evaluates the financial and operational judgment the General Manager or District Manager role actually requires — the kind of decisions you’d be making on a real shift, not abstract questions about your personality or work style.

Your results are one input the hiring team uses alongside a structured interview, not a pass/fail gate by themselves.

Questions

What to expect, honestly.

Can it be paused? What if my connection drops?+
Your answers auto-save every 30 seconds. If your connection drops or you close the tab, reopening the exact same link on the same device restores your progress. The timer itself does not pause, though -- it keeps counting from when you first clicked Begin, even while the tab is closed. If time runs out, whatever you’ve completed is submitted automatically.
Can I retake it?+
Once you submit, that link shows the assessment as already completed and can’t be restarted. If you need another attempt, that has to come from whoever sent you the original link.
Can I prepare?+
There’s nothing specific to study or memorize -- this measures how you think through real GM/DM-level situations, not a list of facts. The most useful prep is the same as for any job-specific interview: come ready to talk through how you’d actually handle the financial and operational calls the role requires.
Who sees my results?+
The hiring manager or evaluator who sent you the assessment. By starting it, you’re consenting to your results being shared with them for this hiring decision — see the Privacy Policy for how your data is handled.
What if I need an accommodation?+
Contact the person who sent you the assessment link before you begin -- additional time is set by them when they create your link, not something you can request mid-assessment. If you can’t reach them, email support@thehirelens.com.
What happens after I finish?+
Your evaluator reviews your results and reaches out with next steps. If you advance, that typically means a Structured Behavioral Interview as the second stage of the process.
